Type: Part time (2-3 days per week)

Location: Flexible with remote working, but London preferable. May require travel to gigs

Salary: TBC based on time and experience

Start date: March 1st, 2022

Hawkr is a revolutionary new way of buying and selling music merchandise at live gigs.  Our digital platform, with consumer facing app, makes the process better, simpler, more sustainable and a more rewarding experience for both fans and artists.

Hawkr combines live and dynamic virtual merch stands with the latest direct to garment printing, to create a more sustainable and streamlined process for all involved.

In addition, it reduces carbon footprint, energy and water usage and uses nontoxic inks in the printing process.  We strive to make Hawkr the new way of merchandising, not only to help fans and artists connect, but to help the planet.

We are an ambitious start-up made up from a friendly and progressive team and our three founders have close connections to the music industry.

We are both fans of music, and touring musicians.

We are expanding rapidly and searching for an Artist Recruitment Executive to lead on artist recruitment and onboarding.   This role requires someone who can work pro-actively to recruit new artists to the platform.

The role will involve contacting and liaising with artists and management to highlight the benefits of Hawkr, with the aim of successfully sign-up new artists in line with monthly targets.

You will also assist with artist account setup, troubleshooting through the Hawkr process, as well as helping artists successfully sell merchandise at gigs and maximise show sales.

The ideal candidate needs to be a self-starter with an appetite to work within an exciting start-up environment.  You’ll be dynamic and proactively involved in defining and achieving targets, whilst helping to grow the company.

You will be a digital native, comfortable with computers, smartphones and have a good understanding of social media platforms and the important role they play within music and marketing.   You will also be excited to learn in depth how to use the Hawkr platform so that you can teach others.

Being in touch and well connected within current music scenes is essential, as is being a great communicator who can help stay in touch with multiple stakeholders at different levels.

As the role is part-time, flexible and remote, it could be a perfect fit for someone looking for work that complements an existing passion or career.
